Retail Therapy: Old Navy Top

I'm currently stuck in that in between stage where my regular clothes are obviously tighter and maternity clothes just make me look frumpy. When it got to the point where I was trying on almost everything I own just to go back to the first shirt I originally picked, I knew it was time to make a trip to Old Navy. I had high hopes of finding maternity shirts that (1) wouldn't make me look frumpy and (2) would work for a summer pregnancy because this baby has 5 more months of baking to do. The maternity section at the Old Navy I went to was extremely limited but I managed to find this cute shirt for only $10 bucks that met both of my requirements. It really doesn't look like a maternity shirt but it flowy enough to accommodate a growing belly and I can pair it with a cardigan now that it is chilly. I'm ashamed to admit that I've already worn this top twice in the short week that I've owned it. I should probably try to find a few more tops!

  3. I should have tried that on when I went there!!! We are very limited here as well, and I was not a huge fan of a lot of there stuff! It is such a bummer because it is more reasonably priced. I did find a pair of jeans there that I love though. Can't wait to hear what you are having!!!!

  4. I've hated jean shopping while pregnant! They never carry TALL jeans and I hate ordering them online before trying them on. I did end up ordering a pair of GAP maternity jeans and while they are super comfy, I'm not in love with how they fit me.

  5. I hated buying maternity clothes...Im too picky I think, lol, and it seems to be rare to find a good deal, so expensive...I caved and spent 80 bucks on 4 shirts at Motherhood Maternity...oye...but Im much more comfortable now, so I guess thats what matters. Good job finding a good deal on some tops :o)

  7. Thanks Mrs. Griswold - I'm also way too picky! One of my friends is due in May and will be giving me all of her maternity clothes then, I can't wait because she has some super cute clothes and loves to shop. I think I might try Motherhood this weekend.

Thanks Sunny - I wish you the best of luck in your journey.

  8. I bought that tank in black and I LOVE it. Even a few weeks ago when I didn't have much of a belly, it looked cute. I'm sure it will last till the end of the pregnancy. I might just buy a few more in different colors. I love the one you bought!
