I'm currently stuck in that in between stage where my regular clothes are obviously tighter and maternity clothes just make me look frumpy. When it got to the point where I was trying on almost everything I own just to go back to the first shirt I originally picked, I knew it was time to make a trip to Old Navy. I had high hopes of finding maternity shirts that (1) wouldn't make me look frumpy and (2) would work for a summer pregnancy because this baby has 5 more months of baking to do. The maternity section at the Old Navy I went to was extremely limited but I managed to find this cute shirt for only $10 bucks that met both of my requirements. It really doesn't look like a maternity shirt but it flowy enough to accommodate a growing belly and I can pair it with a cardigan now that it is chilly. I'm ashamed to admit that I've already worn this top twice in the short week that I've owned it. I should probably try to find a few more tops!

I have the same shirt only in white! I love it!
ReplyDeleteMaybe I should just get this shirt in multiple colors lol!!
ReplyDeleteI should have tried that on when I went there!!! We are very limited here as well, and I was not a huge fan of a lot of there stuff! It is such a bummer because it is more reasonably priced. I did find a pair of jeans there that I love though. Can't wait to hear what you are having!!!!
ReplyDeleteI've hated jean shopping while pregnant! They never carry TALL jeans and I hate ordering them online before trying them on. I did end up ordering a pair of GAP maternity jeans and while they are super comfy, I'm not in love with how they fit me.
ReplyDeleteI hated buying maternity clothes...Im too picky I think, lol, and it seems to be rare to find a good deal, so expensive...I caved and spent 80 bucks on 4 shirts at Motherhood Maternity...oye...but Im much more comfortable now, so I guess thats what matters. Good job finding a good deal on some tops :o)
ReplyDeleteCute top! Thank you for stopping by my blog and offering your encouragement during our struggle. Congratulations on your baby btw!!! Soooo exciting!
ReplyDeleteThanks Mrs. Griswold - I'm also way too picky! One of my friends is due in May and will be giving me all of her maternity clothes then, I can't wait because she has some super cute clothes and loves to shop. I think I might try Motherhood this weekend.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sunny - I wish you the best of luck in your journey.
I bought that tank in black and I LOVE it. Even a few weeks ago when I didn't have much of a belly, it looked cute. I'm sure it will last till the end of the pregnancy. I might just buy a few more in different colors. I love the one you bought!
